Breakthrough in Education is looking for proactive graduates who want experience and opportunities working with pupils with SEN needs to develop their educational skills while prioritising their well-being. You will be working in a newly developed school which aims to raise aspirations and create an environment where pupils feel valued, safe and happy.

**The role**
- Working with a team of TAs and a Teacher with class sizes of 8 -10 pupils.
- Supporting the teacher to help the pupils reach their educational goals
- Preparing the classroom for lessons and keeping the class tidy
- Working 1:1 with pupils and in small groups
- Adapting a creative approach to encourage learning
- Communicating well with the Teacher and Pupils
- Learning and using sign language such as Makaton and other communication methods
- Hours will be from 8:30-14:30 Monday to Friday
- Pay is £385-£450 per week
- Will be calm and patient with a real passion to help young people
- Ideally experience or an understanding of young people with SEN
- Have great communication skills to communicate effectively with pupils and staff
- Be able to adapt behaviour de-escalation techniques if required
- Kind and trustworthy
