Are you seeking to enhance your career and join us on our journey as our Production Controller on a permanent basis and make your mark with a globally renowned organisation in the rail sector? The Production Controller is a key and integral part of Alstom’s manufacturing operations. The role comprises repairing and overhauling products as per designated requirements in a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient manner.

**What That Means Day To Day**

You'll be part of Alstom ensuring that quality protocols are adehered to deliver the key business objectives. You’ll also initiate, co-ordinate and support continuous improvement activity in the workshop. Other aspects of the role include:

- Ensuring that EH&S procedures are adhered to and communicated to the workshop team.
- Ensuring that Quality procedures are adhered to and communicated to the workshop team.
- Ensuring that the workshop team work to product overhaul and repair specifications and drawings with any deviations supported by authorised change documents.
- Managing the workshop team to achieve OTIF, and minimise turnaround time.
- Ensuring that the workshop team has sufficient skills to accomplish the product repair and overhaul requirements through training and competency certification.
- Managing the workshop team to achieve or improve on the planned labour cost of the overhaul/repair.
- Ensuring the workshop utilisation target is met.
- Managing attendance.
- Carrying out performance management of the workshop team.
