Business Engagement Executive

**Salary**: £+ benefits

Location: Herefordshire

Full-time: 37 hours (however, part-time hours will be considered)

The Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is a member-led, not for profit organisation which works to support the local business community and our network of members. Being a finalist in the World Chambers Competition, awarded one of the Sunday Times Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to Work for 2018 and 2019 and being accredited at Investors in People Gold level, these are exciting times to join the Chamber of Commerce.

We have an immediate requirement for a Business Engagement Executive to be responsible for the achievement of membership sales within Herefordshire. Therefore, the role requires extensive travelling across the geographical region in order to carry out face-to-face client visits.

Reporting to the Sales and Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing accurate reports and data regarding activity on a weekly basis, in addition to identifying potential opportunities for other Chamber services and contracts, ensuring referrals are made as appropriate.

We are looking for extensive sales experience with evidence of working to and achieving targets. You should be able to demonstrate strong influencing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of diverse businesses and at all levels, showing drive, enthusiasm and initiative and be highly goal orientated, ideally with experience of using a CRM system.
