Interim Management Accountant

Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering with a fast growing business based in Liverpool City centre as they look for extra support for the next 6 months. The Financial controller is looking for an interim management accountant who can take responsibilityfor the month end accounts and support the team.
Key responsibilities
- Responsibility for the month end accounts production.
- Production and posting of key journals including accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income.
- Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, and that all balances are correct, and differences investigated.
- Assist with providing explanations to Management on variances to budget, forecast and prior year.
- Review divisional compliance with accounting standards and Group accounting policies.
- Prepare statutory submissions for review for example relating to VAT, PAYE and P11Ds.
- Act as a point of contact for other members of the divisional finance teams and coordinate monthly deliverables to the Group finance function.
- Support the forecasting and budgeting process, providing information and analysis where required.
