**Job Description**:

De Beers, the world's leading diamond company, is seeking a Head of Executive Communications to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing powerful speeches, op-eds, and editorial content for our CEO and Executive Committee members.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Craft compelling and persuasive speeches for our Executive Committee members to deliver at internal and external events, targeting audiences such as government officials, clients, media, employees, and the general public.
- Develop and manage editorial content for the CEO's social media channels, ensuring alignment with our business strategy and target audience.
- Draft op-eds that support our overall corporate objectives, effectively communicating complex ideas and corporate positions.
- Conduct thorough research on relevant topics to enhance the messaging and impact of each speech.
- Collaborate with and provide coaching to our Executive Committee members to optimize their delivery and ensure effective communication.
- Understand the individual tone, voice, and style of each speaker, as well as the company's overall tone of voice.
- Comprehend the broader context of speeches to ensure consistency and alignment with our company values and public positions.
- Obtain necessary approvals for speeches and adapt content based on feedback.
- Prepare presentations to accompany speeches when required.
- Manage the CEO's social media channels.

- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as English Literature, Journalism, Creative Writing, or Communications.
- Proven experience in a similar role, working closely with Executive Committee members and other senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality speeches and strategic materials for CEOs and senior management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with available information.
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, structure work, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional written communication skills, including impeccable grammar.
- Knowledge or familiarity with the diamond/luxury jewelry industry and appropriate terminology is preferred.
- Proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of making decisions under pressure and delivering last-minute requests.
- A natural and influential communicator in all forms, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
