**Pay rate: £34,749 - £35,977 per annum**

REED Education has an exciting development opportunity for a lecturer to gain further skills at an FE college.

The college builds great careers by offering a range of vocational and academic learning routes to create independent, socially inclusive, and economically active citizens to lead meaningful and prosperous lives. We are in search of inspirational Healthand Social Care lecturers to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the level entry to level 3 vocational courses as well as supporting all students as a team.

The College wishes to appoint highly skilled and committed staff to work as part of a high quality and flexible project team to deliver teaching, learning and assessment to learners on a wide range of health and social care related qualifications. **The Role**
- To teach effectively on a range of college courses and programmes relevant to health, health sciences and social care.
- To offer students a high-quality learning experience to achieve the goal or qualification for which they are studying.
- To develop course materials, schemes of work, lesson plans etc. and make these available through the colleges shared information system.

**What you will need**
- To be qualified or working towards a teaching qualification
- An honours degree in a health and social care related field or final professional qualification related to Health and Social Care.
- Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy.
- Experience of teaching and or training in the field of Health and Social Care and able to create innovative and engaging teaching materials.
- Knowledge, understanding and a sound practical experience in the Health and Social Care sector education field.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.
