Admin/bed Co-ordinator

A exciting opportunity has arisen within Bed Management.

This role requires an experienced administrator with the skills and qualifications to meet the needs of the role.

Liaising with and working with relevant clinicians, practitioners and health and social care provider services to coordinate appropriate care packages and ongoing care needs.

Have a good understanding of the variety of services that are available to assist referrers in meeting an individual’s need. This will include triaging and signposting clients to other services, tracking and monitoring pick up and hand over of clients to the crisis Response team.

Provision of an efficient, comprehensive and confidential, administrative and reception service to the in-patient clinical team/Centre Manager.

Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the ward/centre ensuring service users / patients and staff are provided with a comprehensive support service

To assist and the support the Manager of the Bed Management Team on a day to day basis ensuring that the overall co-ordination of flow is effectively managed across the AMH acute bed provision. This involves real time monitoring of demand and capacity, comparisons with predicted discharges and admission, therefore enabling the appropriate and efficient placement of patients in ward areas - right patient right ward - enhancing the delivery of quality care, maximising bed capacity whilst reducing risk to a minimum.
