To assist and the support the Manager of the Bed Management Team on a day to day basis ensuring that the overall co-ordination of flow is effectively managed across the AMH acute bed provision. This involves real time monitoring of demand and capacity, comparisons with predicted discharges and admission, therefore enabling the appropriate and efficient placement of patients in ward areas right patient right ward enhancing the delivery of quality care, maximising bed capacity whilst reducing risk to a minimum.
