Springpod was born from our desire to transform the way young people take control of their future. We empower students to try different careers or university courses before they apply. Students can experience what it’s like to be an engineer or to study an economics degree from the comfort of their own home. We connect them with leading employers and universities through Virtual Work Experience programmes and Subject Spotlights (mini degree tasters).

**About the role**:
We’re currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic, talented and commercially savvy Head of Marketing focussed on accelerating our growth as the UK’s market leader for virtual work experience.

We want to find someone who can both help us design our marketing growth strategy and get stuck in and help us execute it. Your ambitious strategy will find the levers to radically grow the number of young people that participate in our virtual programmes and the number of businesses that partner with Springpod to run virtual work experience programmes.

You will initially have a small team reporting to you who you will support to execute your B2B and B2C strategy. As we grow you’ll be responsible for hiring and building out your team. You will also benefit from a wider team of peers in the world of marketing and overlapping business areas.

**Some of the activities you’ll be focussed on**:

- Planning and executing our marketing strategy and budgets within the employer market
- Working with our SVP of Employer Partnerships to define our value proposition for Employers and Students
- Creating a content marketing strategy and working with our in-house and freelance teams to execute it
- Analysing the performance of our marketing and demand generation campaigns and working with your team to iterate on campaigns

**About you**:
You’re a T shaped marketer with a strong overall marketing knowledge and the ability to support your team to execute across multiple channels. You enjoy thinking holistically about how to grow a business and are able to prioritise effectively. You’ll be an effective leader who is highly organised and enjoys working to align your team to deliver results.

You have a minimum of 4 years experience in marketing roles.

**Salary band**: £40,000-£55,000 per annum

**Location**: London - hybrid role (office 3 days a week) open to remote applicants
