A fantastic new opportunity working as a full time Management Accountant based in Manchester. The 12-month Fixed Term Contract role is paying a salary of £38,000 - £39,000. The role offers hybrid working for Part Qualified Management Accountants or someonefrom a similar background.

**Client Details**

My client is part of the Not for Profit sector working in Education and Training. They are based in Manchester City Centre and are a well-known establishment who are passionate about delivering high standards of education and learning to individuals.

**Description**

**The key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include, but may not be limited to;**
- Financial planning, budget and forecast processes
- Prepare and review the monthly management accounts, providing management information and financial analysis
- To deliver budget results and to ensure that the full financial implication of initiatives, including financial risks, are fully managed
- Produce monthly and other Ad Hoc financial reports
- Seek opportunities to improve procedures as necessary
- Responsible for ensuring financial reconciliations are undertaken on a timely basis
- Assist in the approval of staff contract renewals and replacements in line with financial plans

**Profile**

**The successful Management Accountant must possess the following skill set and experience;**
- Background working as Management Accountant or similar
- Not for Profit and Charities or Education Setting experiences desirable
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Significant background of working in an accounts preparation role
- Strong analytical skills
- The management and development of staff
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to convert data into management information
- Possess excellent organisational skills
- Motivation to streamline processes and identify and implement improvement
