**Role Purpose**:
To support the business to develop Financial Crime Framework for the National Lottery to include:
**Role Responsibilities**:

- Policies, processes and procedures for preventing financial crime from Staff, Suppliers, Retailers and Players.
- the design and implementation of automated processes where possible
- training materials to implement the FCF across the business
- compliance controls for the Gambling Commission regulatory framework in respect of NO duties and responsibilities
- Financial Operations & Fraud Control and Nominated Officer functions roles and responsibilities mapping
- roadmap for FCF implementation
- training across the business to contribute to building a culture of compliance
- oversight of FOFC analyst roles and responsibilities to investigate escalated issues, internal exception reports or disclosures of suspicious transactions.
- responsibility for designing and carrying out AML/CTF risk assessments across the company
- research and intelligence support in relation to; AML/CFT, Sanctions, Bribery & Corruption, Probity and Due-Diligence matters as the wider work for the Compliance, Risk & Security department.

Opportunity to progress to a Nominated Officer for the National Lottery role.

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- +5 years experience in an MLRO/DMLRO position in a regulated gambling entity
- Well organised, able to plan and prioritise work tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, and excellent record keeper
- Ability to deliver high quality work under internal volume and external deadline pressures
- Experience with MS365 and Experian
- Experience of working in a gambling environment with detailed knowledge of the business and regulatory environment
- Effective at managing senior stakeholders with the ability to both work with and challenge the Board and senior management when necessary
