**The Role**:
We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Planner to join our growing team. Reporting to the Project Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Developing and implementing project plans and schedules based on employer requirements.
- Analysing and sequencing project activities to ensure logical scheduling.
- Achieving contractual milestones and optimising costs.
- Identifying improvement opportunities in project planning processes.
- Coordinating with teams for project updates and integrating third-party plans.
- Preparing regular reports and performing quality checks on plans and schedules.
- Managing project risks and developing contingency plans.
- Communicating project progress to stakeholders and senior management.
- Mentoring junior project planners and team members.
- Assisting in developing project management processes and supporting other departments as needed.
- Aligning project plans with best practices and business philosophy.
- Continuously enhancing expertise and technical skills.
**The Person**:
Ideally, the role holder will have experience in programme/portfolio management, proven project reporting skills, and a comprehensive knowledge of project development phases.
