Health Care Assistant - Radiography

Renacres Hospital - Ormskirk

Part Time - 26 Hours

We are currently seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our Radiography Department. The department performs a wide variety of general radiography and ultrasound.

The clinical duties involve chaperoning patients and working within a multidisciplinary team to assist patients requirements. The admin duties involve answering phone queries, building patient referrals and booking patient lists. Flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business are essential. The ability to work in a fast paced environment is also required.

What you’ll bring with you
- NVQ level 2 or prepared to train to this level
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
- The ability to make decisions and use your initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A flexible and positive attitude
- Good computer skills
- A prior knowledge of Radiography Services

Renacres Hospital is a private hospital set in pleasant grounds. It consists of two operating theatres and an Endoscopy/ Ambulatory unit which performs a large variety of surgery, orthopaedics being one our main areas. It is supported by full diagnostic services CT, MRI and X-ray and Physiotherapy.
