**About the role**

We are currently recruiting for two Engineering Shift Team Leaders (Electrical biased) to join the team at our Ossett butter & spreads Production Facility.Leading a team of 3 engineers on shift, this is also a hands-on role, so you'll also take part in allaspects of the day-to-day maintenance of the site. This is a perfect opportunity for an engineer to develop their career towards management.

This is permanent, full-time position operating on a 24/7 shift pattern, so flexibility of working hours is required.

**What will I be doing?**

As a Maintenance Team Leader you will be accountable for:

- Working closely with the Production Team Leads/Managers taking responsibility for delivering a high-quality engineering service in support of the achievement of operational targets.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a team to provide engineering support to manufacturing operations.
- Achieve team Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) in respect to equipment performance, reliability, breakdown & maintenance completion.
- Coach and develop the engineering team regarding safe working practices and the rapid diagnosis and resolution of faults.
- Plan and co-ordinate team resources to complete all work allocated to the team in a timely manner.
- Manage and coach the team, identify development areas relating to skills, behaviours and competencies and implement team development plans.
- Participation in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities including leading short interval control and root cause analysis assessments.
- Working as a key member of the Site Engineering Team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
- Managing non-conformance processes and corrective action activities to ensure complianceAssisting with the development of PPM systems and the forward scheduling of maintenance activities
