**Patient Transport and Clinical Services Coordinator (2 positions)**
**Job Location**:12 Heron Rd**, **Belfast**, **BT3 9LE**
**Hours: 35 per week (job shares will be considered)**
**Contract Type: Permanent**
**Salary: £22,781 per annum based on 35 hours per week**
**Full UK manual driving licence and use of your own vehicle is essential (business mileage will be reimbursed).**

Our Patient Transport and Clinical Services (PTCS) support the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service Health and Social Care Trust by providing transport. Within the role of Coordinator, you will provide administrative and practical assistance. You will ensure vehicles are maintained and serviced and staff and volunteers are trained as required. This is a varied role which is not just office based, you will be out and about visiting other sites too.
**What will a day in the life of a Patient Transport and Clinical Services Coordinator involve?**
- Overseeing the Patient Transport operation across the region by deploying ambulances as required.
- Ensuring that all processes and procedures are complying with legislation and regulatory standards of Health & Safety and the Care Quality Commission.
- Regularly checking vehicles, making sure they are cleaned, fuelled and equipment in them is compliant and operational.
- Monitoring and reporting on feedback from service users. Producing management reports on the service.
**What do you need to be a successful Patient Transport and Clinical Services Coordinator?**
- Supervisory experience and an ability to get the best out of people.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and confidence to learn how to use new software and databases.
- Physically fit for lifting and carrying equipment.
- Ability for managing and prioritising your workload against competing and changing demands.
- Knowledge of the charity / voluntary sector.
We look for flexibility in covering this hugely rewarding service which operates Monday to Friday between 8am - 8pm.
