First Achieve Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Officer, in the Edinburgh region. You will be working within a prestigious company, who have been established since the 1800's, they have state-of-the-art facilities & are heavily involvedin Global Manufacturing.

**The role will be paying in the region of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum.**

The role has been created as part of the ongoing development of Commissioning services within the company. Working closely with the Senior Test Engineer, the primary purpose is to produce functional test specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements,this includes but not limited to test strategy documentation.

**Role**:

- Providing effective in-house technical/testing support to ensure customer requirements are fully met.
- Developing personnel and providing test/technical support to the Test Department.
- Providing technical/test guidance and input to in-house manufacturing and test departments.
- Developing and supporting Test Technicians and Test Personnel.
- Creating support documentation, TIS
- Procurement support
- Basic design to facilitate testing
- Determine test needs - hardware, Jigs and fixtures, completion hours
- BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering or relevant Apprenticeship with qualification.
- The ability to provide effective technical support, with a proven track record of internal and customer facing support.
- A flair for problem solving and innovation, together with a flexible approach to work activities.
- Comfortable engaging with clients.
- Competency with using MS Office Creo and AutoCad
- A Sound working understanding of Electrical circuits and components.
- A Basic working understanding of Hydraulic circuits and components.
- Ability to conduct end user training and produce appropriate training literature.
- Experience with electro mechanical / hydraulic handling systems.
