We are looking for a Match Day Staffing Coordinator, to join our HR team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for recruiting and coordinating casual staff on match days, and any other events.

Reporting into the HR Manager, the role will have overall responsibility for the recruitment and onboarding of all casual staff throughout the season. They will also play a key role on a match day overseeing the casual workforce operation.

**Staffing Coordination**
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of match day staff, including their availability, skills, and preferences.
- Manage a staff check-in during match days, resolving staffing issues proactively.
- Coordinate with various departments within the club to assess staffing requirements for each match day event.
- Schedule and assign staff members to appropriate roles and locations, considering their skills, experience, and certifications.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet operational needs, including contingencies for unexpected absences.

**Recruitment and Training**:

- Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, interview, and select new match-day staff members as required.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new staff, ensuring they receive proper training and understand their responsibilities.
- Conduct regular induction and training sessions and refresher courses for existing staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

**Communication and Documentation**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for match day staff, providing clear instructions, updates, and support.
- Maintain open and effective communication channels with various stakeholders, including supervisors, staff, and external agencies.

**Operational Support**
- Collaborate with other departments, such as security, ticketing, hospitality, and facilities, to ensure seamless coordination of match day operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of match day staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Respond promptly to staff inquiries, concerns, and emergencies during match day events.

**Compliance and Safety**
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and club policies.
- Work closely with the safety and security team to implement effective crowd management procedures and emergency protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks or areas for improvement in staffing operations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in event or match day operations, preferably within the sports industry.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, fans, and stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and crowd management principles.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, according to the match day schedule. The role is 40 hours, over a five-day period. Four of these days are to be worked during the week, with the fifth on a matchday.
