Working Hours - 37 hours (consideration will be given to job sharing / reduced hours in line with our flexible working policy)

**_WHO WE ARE_**

Sport Wales is the national organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity in Wales. We are the main adviser on sporting matters to the Welsh Government and are responsible for distributing National Lottery funds. We aim to not only improve the level of sports participation at grassroots level but also provide our aspiring athletes with the support required to compete successfully on the world stage.

**_HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE_**

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact to Sport in Wales. This role is pivotal in supporting the transition to five new Regional Sport Partnerships across Wales and in doing this you will provide project management support as well as providing support to Local Authorities and other delivery partners to ensure a smooth transition.

You will work closely with the Relationship Management Team to support a range of partners from Regional Sports Partnerships, Local Authorities and National Governing Bodies of sport, providing opportunities for collaboration wherever possible.

You will develop and maintain excellent, trusted relationships with senior leaders to support, develop and challenge strategic ambitions and drive transformational change, culture change and continuous improvement.

**_WHAT YOU’LL NEED_**

The role requires someone that champions the concept of collaboration, being able to seek out and facilitate any opportunities for collaboration amongst partners.

You will need to be efficient, manage multiple areas of work and have the ability to create a good and positive working environment, deal effectively with issues and problems; motivating, encouraging and challenging your colleagues

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, although not essential. If you have the presence and personality to work in a high performing team as well as the passion and drive to succeed, then we would love to hear from you.
