Business Process Analyst

**About the role**
Moorepay’s operational teams are embarking on a transformation journey to modernise and improve how payroll and HR services are delivered to our clients. The Business Process Analyst will play a pivotal role in this journey by ensuring that we have a completeunderstanding of all our work and its dependencies. This work will be critical to our transformation and will inform projects of various sizes, from smaller Kaizen style initiatives to system migration. They will have the opportunity to grow and help increaseour maturity in this key area, creating clarity and improving the understanding of where we are and where we want to go.
Please note this position is for an initial 18 month fixed-term contract.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining the templates and standards for business process mapping.
- Developing operating expense models to articulate operations costs and capacity.
- Creating a structured library of processes to articulate operational processes.
- Mapping 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes; taking ownership of process modelling activities - creating and evaluating "as-is" processes and determining "to-be" state, including detailed process mapping of information flows and system architecture.
- Ensuring all documented process are submitted into our body of knowledge to ensure their maintenance and continued accuracy.
- Effectively communicating change.
- Negotiating trade-offs for new process designs solutions, bringing consensus to a finalises future state.
- Documenting processes to be used for UAT testing scenarios.
- Supporting the update of work instructions based on our transformation initiatives and looking to improve their format to broaden their accessibility.
- Developing Capacity Models for teams based on their documented catalogue of processes to support Impact Assessments.
**Skills and experience required**
- Analytical mindset with business process driven approach to issues/problems being raised.
- Knowledge of cross functional business disciplines (marketing, finance, procurement) would be a valuable.
- Capable of managing their own time and workload, with an ability to set realistic timelines for deliverables and meeting those targets.
- Foundation BA or Yellow Belt CI qualification.
- Experience in end-to-end business process definition.
- Interest or experience in modelling and simulation of processes.
- Experience of operational expense modelling.
- O365 toolset, specifically Power Automate (Flows), Power BI and SharePoint.
- Service Management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
- An understanding of Payroll & HR.
- Experience of working within a transformation programme or system change project.
