Bunzl Catering Supplies, part of the Bunzl Catering & Hospitality Division, is the leading distributor of disposables, packaging and hygiene solutions to the hospitality and catering sectors in the UK. Delivering to a variety of different customers in boththe private and public sector from small independent cafe owners, local health trusts and schools to national hotel and restaurant chains.

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Manager for the site who will report into the Operations Manager, managing the day-to-day operation of a pick, dispatch and cross dock operation. This key position for Bunzl requires an experienced, dynamic WarehouseManager who can lead a team in a fast-paced operation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Line management for 3 Warehouse Supervisors, and a team of warehouse operatives.
- Lead, develop and motivate your team to ensure delivery of performance requirements in with Bunzl's expectations.
- Manage and maintain the company's stock inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
- Introduction of processes, procedures and KPI's to ensure the site is managed effectively
- Ensure effective communication with onsite transport team and other sites within the Bunzl Catering network.
- Lead, develop and motivate employees ensuring delivery of performance requirements in line with accountability, role and responsibility. Conduct annual appraisals/regular 1-2-1 meetings with warehouse employees.
- Create and maintain an environment in which employees feel motivated to do their best work and empowered to make decisions relevant to their area of responsibility
- Action discrepancies for all picks, record and stock adjustments and raise urgents for transfer
- Manage old/obsolete stock out of the business through liaison with customer service and sales functions

- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
- Experience of operating autonomously and within a fast-paced, high-volume operation
- A natural leader and will be able to demonstrate proven examples of where you have developed your team and fostered effective interdepartmental communication across warehouse operations
