**Core responsibilities**
- The planning and preparing of all learning activities; to maintain resources, teaching materials, schemes of work and lesson plans for all lessons as per your timetable
- The delivery of teaching and learning for multi skills construction and trade specific units
- To support the students to find creative ways to achieve learning across the levels for individuals (especially those with additional needs)
- To positively engage with all students including those that display challenging behaviours, enabling students to be treated as individuals in a person-centred manner.
- To maintain group registers, tracking progress and providing feedback to both students, centre staff and student schools
- To work alongside the Internal Quality Assurance Officer to deliver the Internal Quality Assurance process in line with City and Guilds awarding body standards
- Maintaining tools, equipment and resources for the purposes of teaching and learning
- Maintain standards required under the Health & Safety at Work Act and all relevant health and safety regulations
- To work as part of St Ed’s team to manage student’s behaviour on site, in accordance with St Ed’s ethos, code of conduct, behaviours and rewards policy and the overriding corporate strategy
- To support other staff where needed across St Ed’s core activities
- Contribute, where possible, with the development of the vocational curriculum, and subsequent design of delivery areas and methods
- Contribute to and participate in the whole organisations performance, leading by example and working as part of a team
- To support the management with the registration and management of vocational qualifications.

You will need to have experience in trades (multi skilled preferred) and be able to instruct/teach.

The work will be at our skills training centre and we can offer self employed or employed positions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Part-time hours: 37 per week

**Salary**: £19,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
