**What is the Job Function?**

Ashleigh (Scotland) Ltd have an exciting opportunity available for a Community Co-ordinator to implement and monitor our wider role activities. These activities cover (but are not limited to) engaging with local schools and SME’s and third sector organisations, along with liaison with Local Authority and Government bodies regarding any initiatives. You will be reporting directly to the Directors and senior management team.

**This permanent position will be based full-time in our Prestwick office. It is not a hybrid or remote working role.**

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Work alongside our Business Co-ordinator with delivering our Wider Role strategy.
- Liaise with our Supply Chain Community Benefit representatives to establish and maintain effective relationships.
- Implement and maintain project specific community benefit and KPI targets
- Support our Business Co-ordinator in producing timelines and implementation plans, and conducting on-going evaluation;
- Maintain relationships with key community benefit partners (schools, local councils, supply chain partners etc.).
- Be responsible for the collation, evaluation, and distribution of necessary community benefit reports. This will involve regular liaison with stakeholders (both internal and external) in order to ensure that agreed timescales and outcomes are achieved. (e.g., KPI’s related to community benefits, reports to clients, project reports).
- Maintain, manage and monitor the supply chain’s delivery of employment, training, business and education deliverables across the Company workload and project pipeline.
- Organise and deliver wider role activities for example careers events, STEM activities, third sector organisation workshops, work experience, training etc.
- Promote our wider role activities on our social media platforms (twitter, LinkedIn, and website).

**Essential Requirements / Knowledge and Skills**
- Have an appropriate character and personality that aligns to the requirements of the role.
- Be organised and have good organisational and communication skills (both written and oral). Planning and Management of the workload will require a systematic approach to work and flexibility to respond to changes in prioritises.
- Manage multiple tasks to ensure key deadlines are always achieved.
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office in particular Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Full UK Driving Licence with access to own transport.
- Previous experience in Community Benefit engagement is not essential.
- Be innovative and have the ability to think creatively to expand and enhance the Ashleigh Building community benefit profile
- Have the ability to speak publicly; there will be a requirement to deliver presentations and discussions to an audience of varied participants and age groups.
