Clinical Fellow in Acute Gynaecology and Early

The Royal United Hospital Bath is looking for a motivated clinical fellow in gynaecology from 1st Feb 2024 until 7th Feb 2025. Training will be provided in specialist areas including early pregnancy, acute gynaecology care, benign gynaecology and ambulatory gynaecology. There will be a focus on gaining your intermediate ultrasound competencies in early pregnancy, acute gynaecology and benign gynaecology. There will also be opportunity to develop skills in outpatient operative procedures as well as in elective and emergency gynaecological operating. Previous experience of working in the UK at registrar level is essential.
The successful applicant will work as a core member of early pregnancy, acute gynaecology and ambulatory gynaecology teams and will be expected to manage patient caseload under consultant supervision.
This represents a fantastic opportunity to develop specialist skills in gynaecology and would suit a doctor wanting to train in a hospital with a proven track record of supporting and training junior doctors
Doctors on the middle grade rota and are contracted to cover each other during absence on annual and study leave. The middle grades are resident on-call. They are expected to take part in teaching midwives and junior medical staff and help to plan the teaching programmes.
