Due to natural and sustained growth an opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Parts Advisor to join our busy parts team. The successful applicant will be smart in appearance, intelligent and possess a positive attitude. The role is varied and challenging but also rewarding and is ideally suited to a young person wanting a enter a progressive career in the automotive industry.

We have a small, compact parts department that carries around 50k worth of fast-moving stock. We operate on a just in time basis with regular daily overnight deliveries from Kia UK. We have 5 technicians who are supported by the Parts team which consists of a Parts Supervisor and a Trainee.

The ideal person will have achieved decent grades in both maths and English and be confident in dealing with all kinds of people. After an initial training period you will be enrolled upon the Kia Apprentice Programme where you will undergo a comprehensive training programme and become a qualified Parts Operative. Most importantly, you will be local with no more than a 20/25minute commute.

The hours will be from 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday through to Friday, with an hour lunch and alternate Saturday Mornings from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

The salary will be dependent upon age but will be commensurate with the Government National Wage structure for an apprentice/trainee. We offer 22 days paid holiday per annum plus the statutory holidays.
