**Rate of Pay**: £45.00 per hour

**The Role**
As a **Part-time Senior Financial Controller** for **YRH Finance Team**, you will be providing SME clients with a tailored financial support service to help address barriers with their accounting process while preparing and explainingfinancial information that positively impacts profit and cashflow.
**You will be**
- An experienced **Financial Controller**, who has previously managed and restructured a finance team in fast growing SMEs and companies with £5m+ turnover
- Able to take responsibility for the day-to-day finance operations such as cash flow, forecasting, management information, consolidated budgets, modelling from scratch, finance procedures and governance
- Experienced in VC/PE reporting, preparing for investment rounds, due diligence processes and group (UK and international) reporting
- Commercially aware - adept at providing expert analysis of the performance of a business and make suggestions for improving profitability and cashflow
- Able to display advanced understanding of multiple reporting tools and building links to non-financial metrics - creating and managing integrations between Apps/tools/systems
- An accomplished finance systems project manager with implementation skills of large systems that are not limited to Xero, Sage 50, or QuickBooks
- Able to provide accurate performance forecasts, adopting forecasting assumptions that ensure confident decision making
- Able to manage audit processes, including managing groups audits (UK and International)
- Experienced in work-flowing internal operations and advising the directors and executive leadership on opportunities for cost reduction and improvements
- Always support the efforts of the Business Owner or Finance Director
- You have good written, oral English language skills and can communicate clearly and effectively
**Experience, Knowledge and qualifications**
- Fully qualified **Financial Controller** (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) with 7+ years’ experience in the role
- Expert knowledge of Sage50, Xero and QuickBooks
- Proficient Excel user (specifically in: pivot tables, sumif and vlookup formulas, Power Excel/Queries, advanced modelling and analysis)
- Expert in using financial data to enable sound and agile business decisions
- Impeccable influencing skills with the ability to contribute effectively to the strategy as part of the Senior Management Team
- Strong management leadership and interpersonal skills, with sound experience presenting financial information to senior colleagues and Boards to support decision making
- You have at least 2 days a week available to work with us and can happily travel to surrounding areas from home
- Technical understanding and commercial awareness of a variety of industries and sectors
- Experience and understanding of setting up/enhancing a finance function, including developing relevant finance controls and processes
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- You are confident, resourceful, take pride in your contribution, able to work to deadlines and well organised
