Our client is a long established property company providing expert advice to landlords. It is a family run business and they pride themselves in providing a relaxed and friendly environment in which to work. This is an office based position in the centre of Edinburgh so being able to travel to the office on a daily basis is paramount. They consistently provide a high class of service to their landlords and tenants based on their high morals and ethics and this is a great time to join the team. Ideally they would want a like-minded individual who has a strong work ethic, great attention to detail and can hit the ground running.

You will be reporting directly to the owner of the company, and should be committed to providing the best customer service, professional and courteous at all times, strong drive and determination.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the property management office
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries from tenants and potential tenants
- Provide excellent customer service and address tenant concerns or issues in a timely manner
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of tenant information, leases, and payments
- Coordinate lease renewals and prepare lease documentation
- Daily reconciliations and allocation of rent
- Assist with rent collection and ensure all payments are properly recorded
- Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders with maintenance staff or vendors
- Assist with move-in and move-out inspections and ensure units are ready for new tenants
- Prepare reports on property occupancy, rent collections, and other relevant data

**To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for**:

- Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred; ideally property
- Familiarity with property management software; but this can be trained
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
