The Job
The Company
This dynamic company is one of the country’s providers of dry lining and suspended ceiling packages.
They have been trading for over 50 years and provide services to clients throughout the country through its three regional offices.
The Role
They are looking for a trainee estimator, who can be client facing and strive in a face-paced environment. The role will details the ability to work individually, with management guidance to price packages of work on behalf of the client.
Bringing together the full tender document, you will gain sign off before submitting the price to the client. Presentation skills, both personal and via computer software are a must for this role
Your duties will include
Assisting with the preparation of the bid
Assisting in preparation of cost reports
Ensuring the prompt submission of estimates to clients
You will need to be:
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels using empathy, tact and diplomacy
Organised and methodical with excellent time management, prioritisation and planning
Enthusiastic, highly motivated, hardworking and conscientious individual
Logical and analytical, with a good eye for accuracy and attention to detail
A committed team player, able to motivate and inspire others and lead a cohesive team
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications are not important for this role, however a trade qualification would be advantageous.
