We are looking for an ambitious & enthusiastic Catering Assistant, who understands our charitable mission and who can support our busy kitchen team in delivering an amazing catering service to the children and the school.

This role is a very busy yet rewarding role, juggling a lot of tasks and you’ll be on your feet a lot

**Hourly Rate**:£11.44 per hour

**(Term Time Only) Weekly Hours: 16.25 Hrs Per Week**

**Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10.45-2.30 (inclusive of a 30min unpaid break)**

**What Will You Be Doing as a Catering Assistant?**

Assisting the planning, preparing & cooking of great food with exceptional presentation.

Ensuring our allergen and special diet menus are followed to the letter.

Being creatively engaging with the children, the school and the parents. This is so important to us

Assisting in the dining area: setting up tables and chairs and clearing away at the end of service.

Washing-up, general cleaning and tidying duties.

Following all aspects of Health & Safety, environment and quality assurance.

Provide a welcoming, friendly and efficient service to all pupils.

**What Do You Need To Have?**

We offer full training for the role of a catering assistant, but ideally you’ll have previous experience of working in a catering, kitchen or school environment.

A knowledge of common food allergens and special diets would be advantageous.

Absolute and unquestionable commitment to the Safeguarding of the schools children.
