**What Are We Looking For?**

We are looking for an ambitious & enthusiastic Mobile Catering Assistant, who understands our charitable mission and who can support our busy teams in various Schools in delivering an amazing catering service.

You’ll play a major role in the kitchen, supporting in delivering excellent customer service to the School and the Children.

**The Details**

The role is Term Time, Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week and the hourly rate is £10.42 per hour.

**What Will You Be Doing as a Mobile Catering Assistant?**

Travelling and providing cover in various schools across Southampton.

Assisting in the planning, preparing & cooking of great food with exceptional presentation.

Ensuring our allergen and special diet menus are followed to the letter.

Being creatively engaging with the children, the school and the parents. This is so important to us

Assisting in the dining area: setting up tables and chairs and clearing away at the end of service.

Washing-up, general cleaning and tidying duties.

Following all aspects of Health & Safety, environment and quality assurance.

Provide a welcoming, friendly and efficient service to all pupils.

Build and maintain positive and professional relationships with colleagues.

**What Do You Need To Have?**

Previous experience of assisting in a busy kitchen.

A knowledge of common food allergens and special diets would be advantageous, but full training will be given.

A knowledge of food safety/kitchen hygiene and HACCP would be advantageous. advantageous.
