Sheppy’s House of Cider was developed in 2017 as a visitor attraction including farm shop, cafe, restaurant and bar. It is establishing its position as Somerset’s premier cider destination, serving tourists and locals alike with a first class experience in all public areas, based on a high level of customer care and attention to detail.

The facility is open seven days a week including Bank Holidays.

Closed: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day.

This post requires 16 hours per week on Mondays and Tuesdays.

On occasions evening work may be offered to help with larger functions or events.

**We are looking for**:
A cheerful and enthusiastic team player

Previous experience would be useful, but is not essential

Someone who works well under pressure

**The post requires you to**:
Keep up with washing-up in a busy kitchen

Keep the kitchen clean and tidy to ensure safety and efficiency

Assist the Chefs with any food preparation which is within your ability

Use your initiative during quiet times to get jobs done which can not be done when busy

The post-holder will report to the Head Chef

**You will receive**:
A percentage share of all tips

28 days holiday (pro rata) a year including Bank Holidays

Uniform - An apron and teeshirts will be provided by Sheppy’s

20% staff discount on shop products, and for meals with one guest

Enrolment in a pension scheme with Royal London after a period of three months’ employment according to your eligibility

**Terms of Employment**:
Employer: Sheppy’s Cider Ltd

Hours: Normally starting 9.30 am or 10 am on Mondays and Tuesdays

Probation: up to 5 months

Hourly rate of pay: Age and experience dependent, based on minimum wage

Start date: As soon as possible

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
