Creative Hub Lead - 6 months Fixed Term Contract

**Salary**: National - Circa £60,000 / London - £70,000

A great opportunity has become available within our Creative Hub as a 6 month secondment cover for an experienced creative leader. You’ll mentor and lead an established, high quality, multi-disciplined creative studio developing campaigns for Aviva. A key aspect of the role will be managing creative designers and copywriters, delivering 1st class creative concepts and assets in line with Aviva’s priorities and timings, whilst implementing and encouraging agile ways of working.

The team is integral to the development of high profile creative projects within Aviva, in partnership with marketing teams, channel experts, creative agencies, legal and Group Brand. The studio leads and executes the evolution of Aviva’s creative identity and tone of voice, while ensuring a strong collaborative partnership with Group Brand and the wider creative community. It delivers a portfolio of high quality, compelling design solutions that communicate the business objective, customer insight and brand requirements. And is raising the bar for the quality and effectiveness of creative, driving a culture of pride in quality and expertise, ensuring every project meets the highest standards.

Aviva operates a “smart-working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, this role is based in Bristol, London, York or Norwich.

A bit about the job:
The role holder be a key member of the Content and Creative leadership team, and the wider Marketing Centres of Excellence leadership team, providing creative direction and operational guidance to elevate creative to deliver better customer and business outcomes.

It will bring Aviva’s customer strategy to life through great creative whilst collaborating with channel experts, legal and Brand, and ensuring a high performing, test and learn culture, driven by customer insight and data.

Priorities will be delivered with an agile mindset. Collaborating with the Studio work-flow team. Monitoring, flexing and prioritising the teams capacity in line with business demand. Evolving the shape and skills within the team to meet trends in business demand, and to ensure a constantly developing high performance team.

The role holder will also make sure that the team retains and further evolves its strong D&I and Consumer Duty focus across all creative assets, while understanding appropriate risk guidance.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

- Ability to lead and inspire a fantastic multi-disciplinary creative team, building a positive and collaborative creative team culture which nurtures strong working relationships across a large organisation.
- Has a diverse creative portfolio of customer focused projects and campaigns.
- Has excellent communication, collaboration and listening skills, and a strong understanding in managing the needs and challenges of an in-house design studio or Creative agency.
- Takes ownership to get things done with great attention to detail and a strong understanding of brand controls, D&I, legal and risk.
- Experienced in working with a flexible, agile mindset and how to capacity plan, problem solve and responding to the daily needs of a creative studio.

- Starting salary circa £60,000 and £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
