Job description

**37.5 hours**

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join a successful retail sales team on a temporary contract, if you have a real commitment to delivering first class customer satisfaction and want to experience what it feels like to do great things to support people, please get in contact.

You will be a person who demonstrates a passion for sales whilst engaging the customers’ interest by selling products to the general public through our showroom.

The ability to connect with our customers is absolutely crucial. Likewise, you’ll need to have a great understanding of our products too. Success in this role is all about understanding the individual needs of the customer first before proposing a solution - offering the kind of service that results in complete customer satisfaction and achieves sales too. As such, we’re looking for a person who will embrace a challenge, enjoy working in a team and have a natural drive.
- Shop sales;
- Customer service
- Assisting customers to find solutions to their mobility difficulties
- Cash handling and till reconciliation
- Taking orders from customers
- Dealing with stock deliveries; Unpacking, checking, pricing and storing.
- Keeping supplier brochures, POS and price lists organised and relevant
- Quality control of products received into stock and dealing with warranty returns
- Responding to telephone calls
- General administration
- Tidiness of all customer areas, inside and out
- Display and re-stocking of the showroom

Computer work will involve:

- EPOS till
- Use of Outlook
- Researching products and solutions
- Assisting with off-site deliveries and exhibitions
- Maintaining records and time sheets

The post holder will have the following aptitudes:
Able to answer calls and deal with customers face to face in a friendly, professional and polite manner, excellent questioning ability, accurate data entry skills with excellent attention to detail

Proven skills of analytical thinking, innovation and problem solving

Willingness to learn and go the extra mile

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, well organised and able to work under pressure on occasion, excellent customer service skills, strong IT skills, strong work ethic

Flexibility and available to work Saturdays

Will be able to work under their own initiative and with the wider team
