A British outsourcing organisation with bases throughout the UK, Continental Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and North America. Our client specialises in 5 key sectors: Defence, Justice and Immigration, Transport, Health and Citizen services

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a **Procurement Operations Manager** for a **6 Month**contract based in **Hook.**

**Purpose of the Role**:
Looking for an experienced Operational Manager with experience in Procurement and managing an outsourcing team, working with new suppliers and raising purchase order etc. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and delivering of Procurement Operationsservices and processes globally ensuring that operational procurement targets are achieved and continuously improved.

**As a Procurement Operations Manager you will be responsible for**:

- Developing and managing a performance management framework incorporating objectives, metrics, targets, regular reporting, management review and action plans.
- Tracking cost, performance, customer satisfaction and compliance across services.
- Working closely with the Sourcing & Category Management team to implement and maintain appropriate source-to-pay process (e.g. buy and pay channels) governance, standards and procedures globally by engaging with functional and divisional stakeholders.
- Working closely and collaboratively with Serco's Finance and Procurement 3rd Party Delivery Partners to drive continuous improvement and supports pan-SBS initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- SAP knowledge and experience is essential.
- Strong operational experience is essential.
- Prior Leadership Behaviour and Capabilities.
- Strong business acumen, able to understand complex business needs and drivers and identify ways for Procurement to address.
- Will have worked in a complex changing environment with demanding business objectives in a competitive market sector.
- Demonstrates a consistent track record of delivery within large and complex Procurement organisations.
- Has a global and strategic mindset while being flexible to local differences and creative to encourage and seek innovative approaches.
- Demonstrates track record of developing and maintaining strong senior stakeholder relationships.
- Possesses excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Strong planning, organising, analytical and fact-based decision making skills.
- SMART knowledge is beneficial.
- Purchase to Pay experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
