Our progressive client is now seeking a **Finance Administration Officer**to work on a Fixed Term Contract for 18 months to cover maternity leave. You will be joining their dedicated team based in Harrogate. They are hoping to secure someone who enjoys working at pace and who wants to feel like their daily activities havea true impact on those around them. This role offers fantastic variety in a very professional sector. You will perform all finance administration duties necessary for the effective management of the finance function such as the processing of purchase orders,invoices for payment as well as the production of sales invoices. You may also be required to provide an administrative service for example, working with the team to assist in organising events and performing adhoc duties for the team.

**Duties asFinance Administration Officer to include**:

- Primary contact for all finance enquiries and carrying out the tasks required in line with procedures
- Work with the finance team to process invoices
- Process sales invoices and purchase orders, including quarterly reviews of the purchase order report
- Process staff expenses to ensure payment is made in a timely manner
- Reconciliation of bank statements, cash books, weekly creditors report, credit card statements and direct debit reports
- Update financial spreadsheets as required
- Identify and address account discrepancies
- Maintain all financial records
- Participate in meetings and provide support as needed
- Undertake an annual review of Suppliers and ensure all details are correct
- Participate in audits

**Skills required to be considered for this role**:

- Experience as a Finance Assistant or similar (essential)
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures (essential)
- A desire to work within a varied role
- An enthusiastic approach
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Adaptable in your approach
- Proactive when undertaking assigned tasks

Our client is looking to offer their newly appointed Finance Administration Officer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, plus a rewarding annual bonus scheme, group life and income protection, company pension scheme, private medical and dental insurance, hybridworking and learning opportunities. The hybrid working model will be a minimum of one day a week in the office with flexible working also on offer.
