Management Accountant

Simpson Judge are working with a high growth construction business just outside of Manchester who are looking to appoint a strong Management Accountant into their friendly team. This is a fast paced, hybrid role and will suit someone ACCA/CIMA newly qualifiedor finalist with experience in preparing management accounts. Supporting the Senior Management Accountant, responsibilities include:
- Preparation of Management Accounts for multiple subsidiary companies
- Preparation of Accruals and Prepayments for month end
- Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Preparation of intercompany-recharges each month including invoices
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Monthly revenue recognition and reconciliation
- Group Cashflow preparation and management
- Managing the fixed asset register
- Maintaining records and support annual auditing process
- Recommending methods and strategies for cutting costs
- Assisting in other ad hoc tasks when required and general support to the finance team
**Requirements**:
- ACCA/CIMA newly qualified, finalist will also be considered
- Previous experience in management accounts preparation for multiple entities
- Experience in the property or construction sector is desirable
- Strong Excel skills
- Sage 50 experience would be advantageous
