Join our team as an Outreach and Psychological Wellbeing Support Senior Education Support Officer at St Ninian's High School

This is an exciting time to join our team and be part of some new initiatives, as the school is implementing new curriculum pathways to support the social and emotional needs of our students.

Within this role, you will be predominantly supporting the holistic progress of individuals identified as having additional or complex need, as well as students in mainstream school who have challenges in the area of psychological wellbeing. You will be be flexible and enthusiastic to support the outreach provision and will implement and deliver a variety of specific and targeted interventions to small groups and individual pupils. The role will also include making home visits and delivering programmes outside of school.

This role allows you to be part of a supportive and hardworking team, where you’ll be dealing with a wide range of people on a daily basis, utilising your excellent communication and organisational skills.

**Salary **information**

Please note the salary indicated above is for a full time staff member who works 37 hours per week, all year round, including school holidays. If this role is working term time (or term time plus a few weeks), your actual salary will be reduced pro rata to the contracted hours per week and number of weeks worked through the year. You will also receive payment for your annual leave and bank holidays, as leave is not permitted during term time. To ensure you receive a salary each month of the year, your pay is rolled up and divided into 12 equal monthly payments.

**Additional information**

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.

A full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required for this role.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
