Fundraising and Events Assistant

Increase income generation across all fundraising streams

Build database of donors and strategic partners, ensuring excellent stakeholder management

Support the leader of HSC by contributing to the development and implementation of Home-Start Cambridgeshire’s fundraising strategy, and funding bids and support relationships.

Support effectiveness of Fundraising and Marketing Sub Committee

**Tasks**

Produce detailed, accurate and timely performance reports against income and key objectives

Organise and attend Fundraising and Marketing committee meetings to help develop marketing and fundraising strategies, collating notes and action points for all members

Develop and implement an annual fundraising calendar

Research, identify, approach and manage new corporate community and individual contacts to secure short and long term partnerships

Deliver stories to promote fundraising stories across social media, newsletter and website

To take the lead on creating, promoting and delivering action plans for physical and virtual/digital fundraising activities, events and campaigns

Ensure effective use of HSC CRM database

Working with all members of the team to ensure good safeguarding practice in all aspects of the Scheme’s work

Complying with all Home-Start Cambridgeshire’s policies and procedures

Permanent contract, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer

**Possible expansions to role after successful probation period**

Support volunteer events to promote recruitment and retention

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £10,183.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Papworth Everard, Cambridgeshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
