**Job summary**

Coventry & Warwickshire Training Hub are looking for an enthusiastic Primary Care Education Coordinator to coordinates and organise the Education programmes for GPs, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals across Primary Care

The role will coordinate education for Managers within PLT and include clear and consistent communication with local clinicians, answering questions and feeding back requests to the appropriate person such as the Education lead, one of the tutors or a nurse lead.

**Main duties of the job**

Liaise with speakers and collate any presentations

Arrange GP practice cover if needed for protected teaching sessions

Set up meetings (virtual or face to face)

Arrange sponsorship (if required)

Oversee registration and answer any queries

Offer support during meetings, including sharing screens as needed, recording meetings

Set up polls / surveys as needed

Collate any feedback and produce evaluation documents after meetings

Share recordings / presentations with IT departments

Liaise with speakers after meetings, provide feedback and arrange future meetings if required

**About us**

Coventry and Warwickshire Training Hub (CWTH) was established in October 2020 as the two existing training hubs were aligned. The Training Hub delivers its Health Education England commissioned core aims to all four places in our system. These aims include supporting recruitment and retention of primary care workforce, placement capacity and quality and embedding of the additional roles. We work in partnership with several stakeholders including our ICB and Health Care Partnership to also support workforce planning and delivery.

The Coventry and Rugby GP Alliance is a private company limited by shares, wholly owned by local Coventry and Rugby GP practices. As a GP led organisation, we represent 50 GP practice shareholders and cover nearly 420,000 patients.

We describe our work in terms of Supporting, Innovating, Developing and Educating - we are on the S.I.D.E. of general practice and we have developed our Operational Plans to describe what we are going to do over this year to ensure that we continue to high quality, accessible and responsive services for both practices and patients.

**Job description**

**Job responsibilities**
- **Key Tasks**:_
- Coordinate educational meetings
- Will need excellent planning and organisational skills
- Liaise with speakers and collate any presentation

- Keep up to date and effective distribution lists for local clinicians, and co-ordinate with Training Hub Comms lead for overall communications and distribution
- Liaise with Integrated care board / training hub leads to ensure they are able to contact the education team in a timely manner.
- Liaise with IT departments to ensure information on website is up to date
- Report data into Training Hub SLT (Senior Leadership Team)
- **Responsibility for Client Care (clinicians within CW)**_
- Create a termly programme of educational opportunities
- Answer questions from clinicians about education opportunities, collate ideas and requests and liaise with Education Team
- Liaise with other members of the Training hub to support clients navigating educational opportunities.
- Support Clinical Leads for Doctors / nursing and Ambassadors when arranging PLT and other educational activities as needed.
- **Responsibility for Resources**_
- Ensure finances are documented and presented for teams to review
- Submit invoices and follow payments as needed
- Book venues and arrange payment through existing processes as appropriate
- As needed day to day supervision of staff within Training Hub / education Team
- Responsibility for Information Resources within the education team
- Take minutes of meetings as needed
- Use IT packages including Work, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Publisher as needed for reports / programmes
- Advanced use of virtual meeting platforms Teams and Zoom
