**This post is part-time and permanent, working 21 hours per week. The full-time salary is between £43,611 and £48,433 and is pro-rata for this part time role.**

You will contribute to the delivery of specialist teaching within the practice-based modules, (and potentially academic skills modules) including lectures, workshops and supervised studio practice. You will help students to develop an understanding of, and to take ownership of, their own creative practice, through research, contextualisation, practical skills development, experimentation and self-reflection. You will work with the programme leadership team to develop curricula and ensure coherence between the core modules, supporting students and helping them to make a smooth transition onto their host courses after the foundation year. The post will include some pastoral care through personal tutoring, liaison with academic staff from host courses, other foundation routes at Westminster and technical facilities staff.

The ability to work flexibly across disciplines, experience of a range of teaching methods, support for group and individual work and working as part of a team, delivering workshops and practical sessions is vital. You will be expected to have specialist understanding of one or more of the host courses that will be practical, and to lead on this area for Foundation.
