**Do you have a high level of accuracy and love working with numbers?**

Our Finance team is looking for somebody with a head for numbers and excellent attention to detail to join the team.

**About the role**:

- Assisting with sales ledger and purchase ledger - involving the whole sales and purchasing cycle including invoices, receipts/payments and reconciliations, and monitoring debt collection.
- Assisting with Internal Sales - transfer information from Shop/Cafe sales system. Produce Lantern Workshop Invoices including Bakery Invoices and circulate to relevant departments. Produce and process journals to reflect internal sales.
- Processing of workshop attendance sheets to produce monthly Workshop Managers Report and production of day placement invoices.
- Maintain Companion recharges - assisting with monthly statements and monitoring repayments.
- Credit Card Statements - Supporting the return and entry of the monthly credit card statements and maintaining documentation data in the ledger.
- Cash accounting - supporting with cash accounting within the Community - reconciliation and recording the shop and cafe cash income; processing cash sheets from the houses and long-term co-workers; entering all details onto accounting software. Monitoring cash balances within set limits, and availability of coinage to maintain shop and café tills.
- Maintaining electronic records of all purchase invoices, credit card analysis (including receipts), bank transactions, and bakery and café takings, then archiving appropriately.

**About you**:

- Experience of supporting a finance function, administering all financial aspects of a similar establishment
- Excellent numeracy/literacy skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Strong and proven numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- A good understanding of the need for confidentiality and secure financial systems
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work proactively, prioritise effectively and use your own initiative.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships both within the Community and with outside agencies, groups and organisations.
- Aptitude for working with IT systems and MS packages.
- Ability to plan and organise own workload, maintain high quality output and achieve set deadlines and targets.
- Committed to delivering a quality, customer focussed service.
