**About the Role**

**Responsibilities**:
1. Mobility Support: Provide assistance and support to the client with mobility, ensuring her safety and well-being while moving around the home.

2. Exercise Assistance: Encourage and assist the client in performing her prescribed exercises, ensuring she maintains physical activity to the best of her ability.

3. Meal Preparation: Prepare well-cooked and nutritious meals for the client, taking into account any dietary preferences or restrictions.

4. Personal Care: Assist with personal grooming, hygiene routines, and dressing, respecting the client's dignity and privacy.

5. Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with the client, fostering a warm and supportive environment.

6. Respect Personal Space: Recognise when the client needs personal space and maintain a sensitive and understanding approach.

7. Housekeeping: Ensure the client's living space is tidy and clean, maintaining a comfortable and safe environment.

8. Medication Reminders: Prompt the client to take medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to the prescribed schedule.

9. Accompanying to Appointments: Assist the client to attend medical appointments, social outings, or other engagements as required.

10. Long-Term Commitment: Embrace the role as a long-term live-in carer, providing continuity and building a strong bond with the client.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years proven live-in care experience, specifically with elderly individuals.
- Possess a Care Certificate, demonstrating competence in fundamental care skills.
- Valid enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, ensuring a clean criminal record, it must be registered on the online update service.
- Hold a valid driving license, as the client has a car that may be required for transportation.
- Fluency in English is required, and additional language skills from South East Asia are preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills are essential for effective care provision.
- Flexibility to adapt to the client's schedule and needs, including occasional weekends or evenings.
