**We have a fantastic opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to join our team here at YourVets Solihull**

This is a permanent full time role working on average 40 hours per week including one week of earlies 8-4pm, following one week of late shifts 1-9pm, with one in four weekends both Saturday and Sunday 9:45am-7pm. You also will have the Monday off following your weekend as a non-working day to rest.

The PCA role is one of the foundations of an outstanding veterinary practice, as a PCA you would be involved in supporting our team of qualified RVNs and Vets to provide outstanding care to our patients, working alongside a lovely team of people - this is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to gain experience in the veterinary industry that could lead to even more exciting opportunities in the future.

This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls, reception cover, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
