What will you be doing?
- Delivering quality personal care to each of our patients
- Supporting them with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene & manual handling
- Understanding our patients communication needs and adapting your communication to each individual, e.g. sounds, tones, body language
- Providing emotional support to individuals and their families
- Take pride in recording the support you have offered by keeping accurate records and communicating clearly with your team members.

In addition to effective interpersonal and communication skills, you will be adept at both working as part of a team and able to act on your own initiative to provide an excellent standard of patient centred care. Both full and part time posts are available, a mixture of days, night’s, weekend shifts and Bank holidays.

Standardised hours of work for patient wards are as follows (the vast majority of wards work long days / nights)
- Early: 07.30 - 15.30
- Long Day: 07.30 - 20.00
- Late: 12.00 - 20.00
- Twilight: 11:30- 00:00/13:30- 02:00
- Night: 19.30 - 08.00
