**The role**

We’re now looking for a motivated & driven Account Handler (Commercial), to join us here at the Jensten Group. Reporting to the Account Director and with a focus on financial lines and construction lead business, you will enable us to deliver exceptional service to existing clients whilst enabling the team win new accounts.
- Assisting the Exec team in offering and presenting insurance solutions, including insurance policies and other risk management solutions
- with the purpose to secure renewal and/or new business.
- To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities. Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
- To understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance. To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA

**About you**

As our Account Handler, you’ll be a team player who is self-motivated and who has excellent communication & written skills, with a keen eye for detail. You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. You will also be or have:

- Insurance background
- ideally in Commercial/ Professional Indemnity/ Construction
- Relevant qualifications (e.g Cert CII) or working towards (ideally)
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance
- Worked in a similar role previously, with experience of working with Insurers and clients (ideally)
- Able to use initiative and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
- Microsoft proficient, with Acturis systems knowledge & experience (ideally)
