Senior Residential Child Care Worker

Lily Residential Services are looking for a new **Senior Residential Childcare Worker**. As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker you will nurture and support the children and young people (aged between 9 - 17 years old). You will be supporting them with all aspects of day-to-day tasks and activities. No two days are the same working in Residential Care for Children.

Our Senior Residential Childcare Workers, provides a safe, comfortable, and supportive home for the children who are in care who have experienced trauma and/or neglect. You will hold the lead responsibility for each shift worked and ensure that tasks and paperwork have been completed for each shift.

You will be the identified person in charge in the absence of any other senior management member. You will maintain a high quality of care and support which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and cultural needs of children and young people within the care of Lily Residential Services. Working within the guidelines from the 1989 Children Act, Children’s Homes Regulations and quality standards and any other relevant legislation.

**We support our children 356 days a year, 24 hours a day. Therefore this position includes**:

- Shift work
- Weekend work (every other weekend)
- Sleep-ins

**About you**:
We are looking for someone who has experience of working within a children’s home setting of at least 1 - 2 years of experience and must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
