**Metalis Engineering are currently recruiting for a Field Based Service Engineer to join a highly established and reputable CNC service company.**

The company are paying up to £37,000 basic salary for the right person and engineers at this company typically earn up to £50k (OTE) with overtime etc.

**Role Outlined**:
You will be visiting customer sites to install, service and repair Machine Tools. Production equipment various but is typically; CNC Millers, CNC Lathes, EDM Machines, Press Tools and more.

The ideal engineer will have good knowledge with Machine Tools and an understanding of Fanuc, Heidenhein and Siemens operating systems.

Please note that this is a Field Based role that consists of some overnight stays.

**Daily Requirements**:

- You will be involved with installing, servicing, and repairing CNC machines and equipment.
- The role will involve fault finding, diagnosing, and correcting errors as identified on CNC machine tools.
- You will be involved in setting up and dismantling hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical assemblies.
- This is a technical role, and you will be expected to provide solutions to resolve customer problems

**Person Profile**:

- A team player with the ability to work on own initiative and problem solve.
- Strong understanding of machine tools and operating systems
- Mechanical and electrical qualifications
- PLC knowledge is advantageous
- Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work around the UK and Ireland (with some overnight stays)
