**ABOUT THIS ROLE**

Reporting to the Social Media & Content Manager UK&I, the Social Media & Content Executive UK&I will be a social media fanatic and creative thinker who is enthusiastic and beauty obsessed, with a passion for storytelling.

The UK&I is the largest and most developed market for ghd and is a critical territory for the sustainability of the brand at a global level. The Social Media & Content Executive will support the day-to-day delivery of the UK&I social media strategy & ‘content factory,’ bringing to life our unique tone of voice across all channels.

**JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Social Media**:

- Support the Social Media & Content Manager UK&I in activating UK&I social calendar.
- Support the Social Media & Content Manager UK&I on community management, collaborating with the customer service team, liking and commenting on tagged posts, monitoring, and responding to direct messages.
- Assist in running social media competitions; monitoring entries, contacting competition winners, and organising prize send-outs.
- Join the Social Media & Content Manager UK&I on calls with ghd’s global & international social media/content teams, taking notes and coordinating follow-up actions and requests.
- Organising social media assets ready for large send-outs to ghd’s international markets.

**Content**:

- Support the Social Media & Content Manager on the UK&I ‘content factory,’ creating UK&I specific content initiatives fit for purpose and utilised across all channels (including but not limited to owned, paid, CRM).
- Work with the Social Media & Content Manager UK&I to create content which ensures harmonious & consistent storytelling across channels, while bringing the brand TOV to life.
- Identify trending topics and work to create reactive content with content agency or design studio to create reactive content.
- Work with relevant agencies on varying content ideas and/or production as applicable.
- Join Social Media & Content Manager UK&I at events and shoots to capture appropriate content.

**Trends & Market Intelligence**:

- Be across social & content trends, algorithm changes, AI, and SEO updates.
- Monitor competitor activity & the luxury market on a regular basis, supporting the Social Media & Content Manager UK&I in summarising & sharing findings with the broader UK&I team.

**KPIs & Reporting**:

- Monitor monthly analytics for UK&I social media channels.
- Assist with UK&I social media weekly updates to wider teams.
- Support Social Media & Content Manager on post Campaign Analysis to enable sound recommendations on future investments.

- Social media & content savvy, with a creative mindset and affinity with premium/luxury, beauty, and trends.
- Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic individual with a positive attitude, “can do” approach and entrepreneurial growth and ‘anything is possible’ mindset.
- Resilient and agile to the dynamic nature of the ever-changing market and business needs.
- Strong organisational skills, an eye for detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic, energetic outgoing, determined to win and a passion for social media, and all things hair.
- Good interpersonal skills coupled with an inclusive mindset, acting with transparency and integrity.
