**Hydraulic Systems Engineer**

**Desford**

**Initial 12 Month Contract**

**Competitive Rate available - Umbrella or PAYE**

As a Hydraulic Systems Engineer you will be responsible for hydraulic development and maintenance. You will develop and validate the hydraulic system through machine testing, tuning, and performance evaluation of the hydraulic system in the machine.Youwill assist in solving technical problems while growing your analytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities of the Hydraulic Systems Engineer**:

- Hydraulic System schematic creation
- Test and develop changes to hydraulic systems and component solutions
- Research and explore new technology
- Develop original or innovative approaches to engineering design, cost reduction, and problem solving
- Promote quality and continuous improvement philosophy
- Researching and exploring new technology

**Required Qualifications of the Hydraulic Systems Engineer**:

- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software
- Good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
- Relevant hydraulic engineering work experience or design of off-highway construction machines
- Basic knowledge of testing and data acquisition tools
- Basic knowledge of simulation and analysis of hydraulic systems
- Basic knowledge in machine operation
