This covers a comprehensive range of physical infrastructure and safety considerations required for a building to meet regulatory requirements. They are currently recruiting for an **Estimator** to join our busy, growing team on a full time, permanent basis.

**Overview of role**:
To provide clear concise quotations to clients, from engineer or client provided information that justifies the work and provides clear narrative that they act on and place orders for the works required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess Engineers visit information to transpose to a quotation of works required
- Monitor Quote Bank / Conversion rates and provide information to SMT as required
- Facilitate / answer queries by clients as required to convert / revise quoted works
- Assist with any Tender Bids as required for the business
- Develop/improve quotation templates for all work types to drive sales / acceptance of quoted works
- Attend site to gather any information required to further / issue quotation for works
- Develop and improve process for meeting turnaround targets by clients for receiving quotes for works
- Assist PM’s, admin, other parties following acceptance for any quoted works as required for completion.
- Be cognisant of contract requirements and works that we can quote for / carry out under self-authorisation limit.
- Analyse quoted works historical data for improvement purposes

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839, BS8629, BS 5266
- Electrical Knowledge to 18th edition (City and Guilds or demonstratable relevant experience)
- FIA FD&A Advance Designer or equivalent
- Able to assimilate information quickly and form an action or judgment in the interest of the company
- CAD/Similar proficiency
- Able to communicate effectively on all levels
- Concise, attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
