Reservations Supervisor Hotel

The Hotel is undergoing a renovation and rebrading project, Working as the Reservation Supervisor at Lythe Hill,, you will be the first point of contact for reservations coming to stay at our 4* Country House Hotel, and will play a key part in ensuring our guest’s stay is booked to their expectations.
You will provide efficient and courteous assistance for individual and group bedroom enquiries for both repeat and new business, whilst working with excellent attention to detail at all times. You will be passionate about hospitality and exceeding the expectations of our guests, from initial enquiry to the end of their booking.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- To be responsible for individual and group bedroom enquiries, starting from the initial enquiry through to the end of their booking
- To follow the correct enquiry response times to convert them into business, assisting with maximising rooms revenue, and rate management
- To take ownership of the role and having a clear understanding of this key segment to the Hotel’s revenue
- To be friendly, personable and professional with all clients, helping to build a relationship with them to ensure repeat business
- To conduct show around's of the Hotel for clients, ensuring that professional and informative service is given
- To use excellent attention to detail at all times as this is critical for ensuring that all information is captured and communicated correctly
- To communicate with other departments within the hotel to ensure key information is understood for all individual and group bookings
- To have a ‘can do’ attitude with being flexible to business needs and assisting in the wider reservations team when necessary
- Have previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of Opera PMS and rate management
- Have excellent administration skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
- Be organised, with the ability to manage their own time and prioritise tasks correctly
